Barry Moat submits written offer to Mike Ashley
BARRY Moat has finally submitted a written offer to Mike Ashley as he looks to push through his takeover of Newcastle United following the resolution of Kevin Keegan's FA arbitration hearing.
Although the offer is slightly below Ashley's £100m asking price, United's owner has asked for time to consider it and Moat is confident he will receive an answer in the next few days.
Ashley, of course, does not have to sell if he does not want to and Dennis Wise's comments over the weekend made it clear the sports shop retailer is considering holding on to the club in the hope promotion back to the Premier League can be secured.

how is it that Portsmouth can be sold twice over yet with the massive potential of Newcastle that dumb clown Ashley cannot sell Newcastle once. Crawl back down your hole Ashley.
How can CH be considered for the managers job. In the course of 4 days he chooses Harewood & Lovenkrans as his strike force for one away game then Carroll & Gerimi are picked. Crazy
Sam Allardyce was sacked because he could not pick a team to be Derby.....now we have CH picking Lovenkrans & Carroll..3 goals all season between them. That doesn't work so on comes A meobi after 60 minutes....far to late. Derby are have already parked the bus on the goal line for a draw. Rubbish tactics from a rubbish manager & the all the Chron bemoans is he does not have a song !!!!!
