Blog on the Tyne was watching as Darren Bent condemned Newcastle United to defeat at White Hart Lane.
Spurs took all three points as the Toon failed to cause Tottenham any major problems, and United must now face the real possibility of dropping out of the Premier League.

Its a shame the players dont show the same passion as the fans...will be sorry to see the toon go down as they have always played good football...not great of late but the players need to look at themselfs and man up..cheer up toon fans lets hope you dont go down and i can look forward to more great games between us.
