Our woes continue - it's over to you, Mike

ALL the ingredients were there, weren't they? A former manager and his new club with the worst home record in the league.

Even though we'd tip-toed out of the cup to concentrate on being relegated, I wasn't expecting the shambles at Blackburn.

A promising first half degenerated into an undisciplined rabble, as we conceded yet another penalty, had yet another player sent off, and yet again two of our players were brawling.

What can the manager say, though? He spends most of his time bawling out fourth officials or opposition managers and then subsequently sitting in the stand writing cheques to the FA.

That would be a good promotional drive for season tickets, Mike - "Come and watch our manager fighting" or maybe "Hey! We've got Shola for three more years!"

I won't be arrogant enough to claim that I speak for all supporters, but one thing I know is that we are pig sick of owners, chairmen, managers and players using this great football club as a huge cash machine with a nice lawn in the middle, and getting nothing in return.

We are sick of providing the best sick pay scheme in the area. Joey Barton expressed surprise at the 'vicious' reaction of supporters towards Allardyce after our previous mauling by Liverpool. Well, I'll tell you what, sunshine, if that turned your head, you won't believe the crowd reaction if we don't strengthen before the transfer window closes and get turned over by O'Sunderland.

The Liverpool game will be like a standing ovation in comparison. JFK said in a Sky interview he was confident of stopping up with the players he has (I think we all know what that's a precursor for), then Saturday night it's "we need bodies in because it's desperate"!

He asks why the problem wasn't addressed before he arrived. Well, the next time you're being briefed on what to say next, why don't you ask Ashley and his cronies that question?

Do you think Keegan begged them NOT to sign players? Do we have a transfer policy, apart from only signing players too young to drive?

Keegan left because he had no say, now JFK is scouting himself, despite having had four months to prepare ourselves for the window. Why are you doing this Mike? Are you still in a huff because of the Keegan reaction? If so, grow up, sell up and take your mates with you.
