We'll be up for Pompey
JOE KINNEAR today shrugged off talk of an injury crisis at Newcastle United by vowing to put Portsmouth to the sword on Sunday regardless of who is handed a black and white shirt on the south coast.
The United manager could have limited options in midfield, with hip victim Danny Guthrie facing a race against time to be fit for Pompey and Nicky Butt and Damien Duff both doubts.
Kinnear hopes to discover by Friday whether the midfield trio are in with a chance of facing Tony Adams side, while Shola Ameobi is still struggling with an ankle problem.
