Wanted: Your memories of Tyne-Wear derbies
THE Chronicle is putting together an article on your best memories of Tyne-Wear clashes down the years - and we need your help.
We want your highlights from 110 years of history between the clubs as Newcastle prepare to travel to the Stadium of Light at 12.45pm on Saturday.
Maybe your top game was Sunderland 1, Newcastle 4 in 2006 when Toon hero Alan Shearer smashed in a penalty in his final match in a black and white shirt.
Or maybe you remember the last derby at Roker Park when Les Ferdinand popped up to score in a 2-1 win for the away side.
Either way, there's plenty of dramatic moments to pick from.

Best memorie
BIG JOHN MaCNEMEE swinging from the nets in the old Fullwell end when scoring the equaliser in the 3-3 draw in the 60`s and the Fullwell going mad as it was filled with Geordies.
Bst Memory has to be standing in the Fulwell end ans seeing John McNamee swinging from the goal when he scored the equaliser.
Worst memory standing in the Gallowgate end in the rain as we totally capitulated in the playoffs.
My fondest memory is of our visit to Roker Park in '96. The Toon Army was banned, Shearer was roundly abused and we trailed at half-time. All the more satisfying then that Pedro and Sir Les popped up to plunge the ramshackle ground into mortified silence.
It may not have been the best vintage - but my favourite moment was when Liam O'Brien silenced the Mackems in Oct '92 with one of his trademark screamers....glorious.
25th October 2008 . No doubt about it, a brilliant free kick, silence in the unwashed barcode section. Bliss.
