The aftermath of deadline day
What are we to make of these whispers and rumours that KK's future hangs in the balance?
As with most Toon stories in the national press, while I want to ignore it, it's hard not to sit up and take notice of something such a significant claim.
Has the recruitment structure been so frustrating for Kev that he wants out? I really hope not.
Pleas elet me know what you think or have heard... I've got a feeling it won't be long before we know the truth though.

There's a press conference in 10 mins
If this is true then we only go backwards from here
Conflicting news, Sky Sports claims Keegan has left, while no confirmation from the club as yet... Anyone know anything out there?
Looks as though he's gone. Typical Newcastle!
What's even scarier is Dennis Wise is odds on favourite to take over!
This whole situation is so frustrating. Nobody else takes us seriously, and now we're seeing why all over again. I must stress that as I write this there is no official conformation on anything yet...
Unbelievable! Once again our board does what it does best! Anyone got any confirmation on anything yet ?
From day 1 I have always believed Mike Ashley bought Newcastle to make a quick buck, that is his history. He probably knew dam well that the FAr East were looking to invest. Now he is in to a damage/cost limitation exercise, and he is not going to like the flak flying around. By my calculations, since he bought the club and paid off the debts, he has invested 0 additional capital in buying new playes. He has wheeled and dealed, maybe well on the first evidence of the 2 agentinian signings.
If the club is not extremely careful now , we will go the way of Leeds and Notts Forest
Hey Paul, glad to see the blogging's keeping up!
On a serious note, Keegan going is NOT what the club needs at the moment, we have offical confirmation that he has not been sacked. Just no confirmation that he's staying!
I was one of the people at SJP and fan power seemed to pay off.
Well he hasn't been sacked, but that doesn't mean the board aren't just trying to absolve themselves from blame. I'm sure fan power has to come into play here; the atmosphere outside St James' couldn't be ignored. I just hope the right decision is made, by the board, and by KK...
