Stand by our man...
No official developments in the Toon story this morning, but quite a few reports suggesting Keegan has told the board what many have expected; "it's me or Wise".
Now let's get some facts straight - Kevin Keegan's role so far at Newcastle United, where he has been responsible solely for first team affairs and addressing the media, is no more than that of first team coach and spokesman...
Kevin Keegan is not a coach, he is a Manager, and until he is allowed to manage the Toon, we will not see any sense of harmony at the club, or the best of KK. More importantly, if we don't see him given this control, it's looking certain that we will have seen the last of him.
We know how popular Mike Ashley and Co. will be if that happens - and surely now he has seen for himself what lies in store if Keegan goes. The overwhelming support for KK from us fans must surely force him to reassess his position.
It's also great to hear reports of the players, led by Captain Michael Owen, ready to stand by KK too; Ashley's list of options is growing thinner by the hour...

THERE'S ONLY 1 KEVIN KEEGAN and he should be allowed to manage the club like he did back in the 1990s where he decideds who comes and goes. Geordies Everywhere are backing KK over Ashley, in that Denise Wise and co should go and leave Keegan to get on with the job that hes good at and feels passionatley about and thats Managing Our beloved Newcastle Utd. Because if KK had more control over players futures i believe the Owen saga never would be happening and the likes of Milner never would have went. Ashley should sell to someone like the bloke who just bought Man City and is willing to put every penny into making a club great just look at what he did out of the blue in achiving to sign Robinho for £35million snatching him from Chelsea. Although im happy with the players that have been brought in like Guthrie, Gutierrez and Coloccini as they look promising but its not a strong enough team to challenge likes of Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool for a place in the top 4.

So KK has finally resigned. Is it just me, or does this not feel like our club anymore? I have followed NUFC since 1978 when I was 5 years old. I've never felt less connected to the club. Where on Earth do we go from here?
I sincerely hope we have 50,000+ people OUTSIDE the ground for the Hull and 0 inside. Maybe then Ashley and Wise will realise it's OUR club, no matter who's name is above the door.
NUFC RIP.
Keegan has resigned.
I have never felt so strongly about anything in football in 54 years but something has to be done about this cockney clique now left in charge of our club. They cannot be left to smugly assume that they have gotten away with this and the world will just move on. We will never forget or forgive so they might as well find out right from the start that they should just sell up right now and get back down south where they belong. The local press should play a part in this and make sure the message gets to them loud and clear through their media. Supporters should boycott anything to do with that fat cockney and stay away from SJP until he is confirmed as being off the plot. The saddest bit of the lot is that I can see relegation as being the only conclusion this season plus all the players worth anything will be on their bikes come January.
I really cannot remember a worse day.

It's a sad day for NUFC and all of us. This season now officially means NOWT to me. I'm going to do something I never thought I would and ask for a refund on my season ticket. I don't want my money going to any billionaire bully whose arrogant mistakes have now cost us the heart and soul of our team.
They say a fool and his money are easily parted and on this basis I this we can expect to see Mike Ashley as skint as the rest of us.
I want to wish KK all the best for the future as I doubt we'll see him on the Tyne Again.
Well Done Ashley!!!
