Newcastle seal two deals as transfer window closes
NEWCASTLE United brought a difficult summer in the transfer market to an uninspiring close last night with the double signing of Ignacio Gonzalez and Xisco.
Although the addition of an established Uruguay international midfielder in Gonzalez and a promising Spanish-Under-21 international forward in Francisco Jimenez Tejada, known as Xisco, will be most welcome for manager Kevin Keegan, it is debatable if they will be enough to appease those supporters who have grown disillusioned by the lack of transfer activity.

IS IT TRUE, HAS KEEGAN RESIGNED. The rumour around my Office is that Keegan has Resigned again.......
Following this rumour the BOOKIES have stopped taking bets on him being the first manager out.
Once agin a very disapointing deadline tranfer window closes and do we get the WOW signing and the 3 or 4 players both Ashley and KK spoke about, Not on your life. The Most die hard of fans must really feel that this club has given up now as they only Promise the fans what they want to hear before the sale of season tickets and deliver nothing after they have been sold. I have signed up for my tickets for the next 3 years, because i believed in them all but not nay more. I feel so let down again for the last time.
once again too little too late,Ashley should sell up and let the right people come in and move this club forward not backwards as that is where we are heading.
Does Ashley not realise that standing in the away end downing pints gains him 30 seconds credibility with the idiots and terminal disrespect from those of us with brains? Can someone with a big wedge of cash start up a fans collective so we can try to buy our club back. I'm not even bothered about big signings, but let's all work to use what we have to go in the right direction...
if keegan has been sacked what must the new signings be thinking this morning and what about the future of michael owen. rumour has it he sacked because he didn't sell barton. what now!!!!
